Winching in sheets and halyards has always been a tough task. Now the EASY~WINCH torque multiplier takes some of the strain out of sailing.
It's robust and compact design incorporates a 4 to1 gear head together with a standard winch coupling shaft which fits all makes of top acting winch. Effort is instantly reduced to one-quarter.
All of those hefty on-board tasks, such as hoisting and trimming sails, lifting a heavy person up the mast in a bosun's chair, or getting someone out of the water in an emergency, are now so much easier!
The torque reaction of the EASY~WINCH gear unit is
absorbed by a wire restraining strop, which is fitted with a carbine hook for easy
attachment.
This strop also doubles as a safety line, so there's no danger of losing
your EASY~WINCH overboard.
Two deck eyes are supply for easy installation, with a spare shear pin -- which is fitted to the handle to protect against abuse.
