Who better to design a boat to fit a sailor's needs than the man who has taught more people to sail than anyone?  That's exactly what Steve Colgate, founder of the renowned Offshore Sailing School in Florida, has done.
Working with noted designer Jim Taylor and Precision Boat Works, he has created a boat to truly fit the needs of today's recreational sailor.
The COLGATE 26 puts the fun back into sailing.  How?  By combining excellent performance with safety and durability at exceptional value.
A spacious cockpit provides room for the whole family plus friends.  Below you'll find roomy storage for both daysailing and weekending.

Key Benefits

The computer-designed underbody creates stability and exceptional performance in both light and heavy air.  The effective rudder allows excellent maneuverability and easy steerage in even the most extreme conditions.

Durable fiberglass construction minimizes upkeep.  The deck to hull joint is through-bolted and covered by a custom extruded, hard rubber bumper guard.  Extra reinforcement has been added to the keel/hull junction as well as all other high impact areas.  The use of CoreCell foam adds additional strength to the deck and cockpit.

The safest boat on the market, the COLGATE 26 is unsinkable, even if holed, and completely self-bailing.  Solid cockpit railings provide complete security and comfort.
